John Pam Day

Kermit, TX

I met Mike about 22 years ago while pumping a lease for BOPCO near McCamey. Thru the years I would see him from time to time checking meters from there to Carlsbad where I also pumped for awhile. No matter how busy he was, he always took the time to stop and say hi. He was always in a pleasant mood and I enjoyed talking to him every time. I just found out about his passing and want to offer my condolences to his family. He was a good man.
I want to thank my wife Pam for finding this page so I could let you know that he was well thought of and highly respected. May God be with you during this time.

I met Mike about 6 years ago. The first impression I had of him was that he was a kind, softspoken man of principle. I was right. He will be missed.

I only spoke to Mike on the phone for an hour, to write copy for his business website. What I heard was a downtoearth, authentic person with great love for what he did, for life and for the world around him. I loved the fact that he talked about his earlier entrepreneurial endeavors, where he fell on his ass, but never gave up. I think that that never giving up epitomizes who he was. He embraced all of lifes challenges, and to the end, fought.

His legacy lives on in his children, who epitomize all the good that Mike and Beverly are. If only the whole world could be as naturally warm and wonderful as him.
