Betty Faye Book, age 75, of Odessa, TX, passed away on January 10, 2018 in Dallas, TX.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Betty was born October 9, 1942 to Ozzie and Blanche Ireland in Los Angeles, CA. She went to school in Conoga Park, CA. Betty married Shelby Book on June 23, 1979 in Upland, CA. She worked their ranch, Swinging B for 20 years. She was involved in the Odessa Teddy Bear Patrol.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Book and her parents, Ozzie and Blanche Ireland.
She is survived by her daughter, Terry Lopez and her husband, Alfonso Lopez; stepson, Ed Book and his wife, Connie; grandchildren, Cory Longwith, Kyle Longwith, Isabella Book, Cianna Book, Brielle Book; great grandchildren, Peyton Longwith and Kayla Longwith; and her loving dog, Chantel.
Pallbearers are Alfonso Lopez, Ed Book and Cory Longwith.
Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.
