Bobby V. Moore, age 73, of Odessa, TX, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at his ranch in Whitesboro, TX.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Monday, February 12, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Bobby was born September 16, 1944 to Carter Moore and Mercedes (Dillard) Moore in Harriman, TN. He attended school in Andrews, TX. Bobby married Fredda Plumlee Mason May 10, 1993 in Pigeon Forge, TN. He worked as a salesman for WR Grace for 10 years. He joined the Masonic Lodge in 1972, was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of El Maida and Suez Temples. Bobby also was affiliated with the Odessa Shrine Club and their fundraising efforts for the Shriner’s Children’s Hospitals in Houston and Galveston. Bobby was a founding member of the Annual Special Olympics Halloween Carnival. He also was involved in various businesses and enterprises in the local area.
Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Carter and Mercedes Moore.
He is survived by his loving wife, Fredda Moore; son, Darren Wade Moore of Whitesboro, TX; stepson, Geordie Mason and wife, Karen of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Kennah Hineman and her husband, Keaton, Morgan Mason, Connor Mason; sister, Jan Thorogood of Garland, TX; nephew, Shawn Keener and wife Carla of Plano, TX and their children, Brenna and Gavin. Also his special friend, Angie Brown.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital.
