So sorry for you loss. It is hard to be comforted right now. However, please be confident in God's ability to restore life to your loved one as was Martha when her brother Lazarus died. She was so convinced that she said "I know he will rise in the resurrection." (John 11:24). A grand resurrection will take place when we will be reunited with those who have fallen asleep in death. Jesus performed resurrections when he was on earth and he will do the same for our loved ones. When the call goes out, they will answer and come out of the memorial tomb. I have benefitted greatly from these scriptures, and I pray that you will also find comfort in them in the days ahead.
