Even though I didn't know Gene well, I knew his brother & sisters and mom & dad. What a great family! My heart goes out to all of you who will miss him so much. Newcastle is a neat little town, and we love the ones who went to school there, even if we weren't close in age. Gene's uncle John Ed was one of my dad's very best friends, and Daddy thought a lot of Charlie and Ike too. God bless you as you grieve for your dear husband, dad, granddad, brother, uncle, friend. Love & prayers, Cookie Bullock Haile
