I meant that I've never doubted that she still loved me.

How do you say goodbye to the loving woman who welcomed me into her home everyday for the better part of my childhood, who was another mom to me, who helped me know Jesus, who I haven't physically seen in more than 20 years yet I've doubted still loved me, who was instrumental in the woman I've become? Words just don't seem to be fitting. While I know she is happy and healthy in Heaven, the selfish part of me would like her to still be here. Miss you Dru Dru.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Dru and I were high school classmates and we were close early-marriage couple friends. However, our paths haven't crossed in many years. I think the last time we saw each other was in Ruidosa one summer. But I've continued to feel close, keeping up through relatives, Christmas cards, and social media. I still have pictures of you girls when you were young that Dru sent in Christmas cards. Dru was a wonderful person. God bless you all as you hold tight to each other during this sad time.
