Abel Melchor

Abel Melchor, 57, passed away November 18, 2020 at his residence in the arms of his loving wife of 40 years and his only son.

Born December 7, 1962 to Eva Emma and Jose Inez Melchor in Mexico.  (Both parents have passed)
He loved to eat, travel, and shop at Sam’s, but most of all, he loved to spend time with his kids and grandkids. He was his happiest when his house was full of kids and so loud, he couldn’t hear himself. “Cállense cabrones!” In the words of his grandkids, “Tata could fix anything.  He was the best grandpa.”  Y fue cabron.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; son, Abel; daughters, Janette, Maria, Angelica, and Alicia; sons-in-law,  Raymon, Fernando, and Rogelio; his beloved grandkids, Alexis, Israel, Kaylee, Abelito, Zoe, Isaiah, Yaretzy, Aaliyah, Max, Xavier, Madilynn, Raymon Jr, Fernando Jr, Marcus, Izabeya, and Josh; as well as great grandkids, Jesus and Kendra.

Recitation of the Rosary will be at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Father Mark Woodruff officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
