Ada Mae "G-Mom" Wollum Henry, the most wonderful, caring, gracious, loving wife, mother, G-Mom, sister and aunt was welcomed into the arms of her loving Lord and Savior at the age of 92, on July 9, 2017 in Odessa, TX.
Mae was born on December 31, 1924 to the late Levi and Nina Wollum in Cranfills Gap, Texas. She married the love of her life, Carl Henry on January 17, 1945 and they had a happy and joyous marriage. She lived a full and wonderful life with many blessings. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God sustained her through many trials in her life. She was an awesome prayer warrior. She was a member of Sherwood Baptist Church.
Mae is preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl Henry; parents, Levi and Nina Wollum; Daughter, Jacqueline "Jackie" Anderson; son in-law, Wayne Anderson; granddaughter, Susan Henry; sisters, Willie Mae Wollum Williamson, Margaret Wollum, Joann Horton; brothers, Orin Wollum, Levi Wollum, Jr. and James Wollum.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda and Charlie Anderson; son, Danny and Linda Henry; Brother, Bobby and Shirley Wollum; grandchildren, Wayne and Melinda Anderson, Jr., Charla and Tim Long, Donna Anderson, Tammy and Donnie Ledbetter, Shannon Alfaro, Robbie and Amber Henry, Kimberly and Jon Phillips and Henry "Bubba" Clark; great grandchildren, Brittney and Chris Chamlee, Amber and Trent Davis, Michael Anderson, Ashleigh Alfaro, Jayla and Noah Inzer, Rebecca Long, Austin and Marina Henry, Alaxis Henry-Stoglin, Gracie Anderson and Shandon Nutter; great great grandchildren, Mason Chamlee, Aubrey Chamlee, Dawson Davis, Addison Davis, Aizlea Alfaro, Parker Inzer and Letty Anderson.
Pallbearers will be Tim Long, Donnie Ledbetter, Robbie Henry, Michael Anderson, Jon Phillips and Henry "Bubba" Clark.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm, Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at Sherwood Baptist Church with Reverend Jimmy Braswell officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Sherwood Baptist Church.
