Ada Scott

Ada B. "Skeet" Scott, age 76, of Odessa, TX, passed away on October 20, 2017 in Odessa.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 pm, Friday, October 27, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Dennis officiating.

Ada B. "Skeet" Scott was born in El Paso, TX to Ada Eleanor and William Eugene Barry on August 6, 1941. She attended Coronado High School in El Paso and graduated from UTEP in El Paso. She married Bobby Gene Scott in Odessa. She worked as the personnel director of Nation Bank of Odessa for 19 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She had a huge heart and was a very giving person. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family.

Ada B. "Skeet" Scott is preceded in death by her mother, Ada Eleanor Holmes of El Paso, her husband, Bobby Gene Scott of Odessa and her son, Kenneth Paul Grimaud, Jr. of San Antonio, TX.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Karen D. Grimaud of South Texas, Kaylynn Scott of Odessa, Lori M. Scott of Midland, TX; sons, Mark Scott and his wife, Marla of Odessa, Matt Scott and his wife Angie of Odessa; brother, David Barry of Odessa; sisters, Pam Fonte and her husband, Skip of Amarillo, Cheri Gipson and her husband, Mike of Las Vegas, NV; her father, William Eugene Barry of El Paso; grandchildren, Heather Burkhaulter and her husband, Matt Burkhaulter of Odessa, Scott Wilhoit of Odessa, Cliff Olson and his wife, Karyna of Odessa, Allie Scott of Odessa; great grandchildren, Dontae Wilhoit, James Wilhoit, Briara Wilhoit, Brynlee Burkhaulter all of Odessa and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
