Our beloved Father, Granddaddy, and GreatGranddaddy, Rev. Adam L. Klein has left this world to be embraced in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Adam, at the age of 82, passed away Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. He was surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and greatgrandchildren. He was born November 9, 1927 in Henrietta, Texas to Adam and Mary Alice Klein. He was united in marriage to Sue Riddick on January 28, 1950 in Henrietta, Texas.
He was a devote Christian and Baptist Minister who loved and served the Lord unconditionally. He strived to tell all that he met about the promise of eternal life. He has now taken up the path of that eternal life with God.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Sue Klein, son, Alfred Klein, grandson, Timothy Cox, great grandson, Gaden Klein parents, Adam and Mary Klein sister, Mary Lee and brothers, Allen Klein and Alfred Klein.
He is survived by daughter, Elaine Wofford of Odessa, Texas sons, Dwayne Klein and wife Kayla of Whitehouse, Texas, Larry Klein and wife Vickie of Andrews, Texas, Jerry Klein and wife Joanna of Odessa, Texas daughter, Alice Payne and husband Kenneth of Odessa, Texas daughterinlaw, Cindy Shrum and 18 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and a host of Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
Visitation with the family was from 68 PM on Friday, November 5, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 4:00 PM Saturday,
November 6, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Dave Atkins officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Alan Wofford II, Anthony Klein, Neil Childs, Cody Klein, Casey Klein, Jerry Klein II, Chad Klein, Michael Klein, Gene Payne, John Payne and Don Payne.
Honorary pallbearers will be his granddaughters, Katherine Wofford, Angela Wofford, Alice Allen, Candice Klein, and Mary Smith.
Our entire family would like to take this time and with a heartfelt embrace thank each and every one of you for all your prayers, floral, food offerings and especially your presence with us during this most difficult time. The family is forever grateful and May God Bless You All.
