Agripina Pina Navarro went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 12, 2009 in Odessa.
She was born June 23, 1922 in Terlingua, Texas to Manuel Levario and Maria Grado Levario. She married Alberto Navarro on June 10, 1941 in El Mulato, Mexico. The couple made their home in Kermit, Texas. Pina was a homemaker and known for her homestyle cooking. She had a family restaurant in Kermit. Pina left a legacy to those who survive her as she taught them the art of cooking and handiwork.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alberto Navarro and son Antonio Navarro.
Siblings that precede Agripina in death are brothers, Alvino Levario, Jesus Levario, and sisters, Manuela Leyva and Maria Levario.
Survivors include her daughters, Aurora Vigil and husband Oscar Vigil, Sally Navarro and husband Gerardo Velasquez, and Alfa Navarrete and husband Ismael Mike Navarrete, all of Odessa ; granddaughters, Maribelle Vigil Minyard of Odessa, Imelda Carrasco of Odessa and Juanita Gonzales of Westhoff; grandsons, Jay Vigil of Midland, Mikky Navarrete, and Isaac Navarrete, both of Odessa; and eight great grandchildren; sisters, Josephina Moreno of Ojinaga, Mexico, and Socorro Ramos of Midland; and a brother, Pablo Levario of Midland.
Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, August 14, 2009 in St. Marys Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 15, 2009 also at St. Marys Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Eli Pando, Abel Lujan, Herman Gonzalez, Eric Galindo, Manuel Levario and Jaime Moreno.
