Alene Lippe

Alene Lippe, age 95, of Odessa, TX, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2016 in Odessa.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jeff Franklin officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial gardens.

Alene was born on November 9, 1921 at home in Coleman County, TX to Trox Oliver and Lena (Eschburger) Burleson. She married Edward Adolf Lippe in 1939 in Miles, TX. They remained married until his passing in June of 1985. Alene loved gardening, watching the Dallas Cowboy games and especially taking care of her family. She loved to cook for her entire family.

Alene is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years, Edward Adolf Lippe; daughter, Lena Pauline Parish and grandson; Jimmy Rey Parish.

She is survived by her sister, Ruth Lippe of Odessa, TX; brother, Clifton Burleson of Houston, TX; daughters, Laverne Ann Lippe, Barbara Marie Lippe, both of Odessa, TX, Debrah Ruth Coots and husband Jim Bob Coots of Midland, TX, their children Meagan Coots of Ft. Worth, TX and Caden Coots of Odessa, TX; granddaughter, Rhonda House and husband Michael House, of Woodstock, GA, their children Taylor House, of Tifton, GA and Jaden House of Woodstock, GA; grandson, John Jones and wife Claudia Jones, their child, Christabelle Jones all of Odessa, TX, grandson, Joe Jones of Round Rock, TX, granddaughter, Renay Goodman and husband, Tony Goodman of Oak Point, TX and their children, Bubba Goodman of Oak Point, TX and Ayren Goodman of San Angelo, TX; great grandsons, Braden Parish, Cameron Parish, Jared Parish and Cabot Parish all of Crane, TX.
