Alice Ridener

Alice Marie Cheek Ridener, age 79, passed away Wednesday, March 24, 2010 in Odessa.

She was born September 17, 1930 in Maysville, Oklahoma to Robert James Cheek and Runa Hattie Cowan Cheek. She married Benny Ridener on May 26, 1951 in Maysville, Oklahoma.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Robert and Runa Hattie Cowan Cheek, her siblings, Lucille Ladd, Everett Cheek, Robert Cheek, Emily Cheek and her great grandson, Jayden Ridener.

Survivors include her husband, Benjamine Benny C. Ridener of Odessa daughter Sherry Ellis and husband Jimmy Ellis of Odessa son, Robert Bob F. Ridener and wife Pamela of Dubai, United Arab Emerants Grandchildren, Tricia Plumley and husband Aaron of Amarillo, Christopher Ellis of Odessa, Joshua Ridener and wife Angela of Pampa, Texas, Amanda Ridener of Lubbock, Texas, and Casey Ellis and wife Sheena of Lemoore, California great grandchildren, Jordan Ridener, Steven Ellis, Keegan Plumley, Cameron Plumley, Anastacia Escarcega, Austin Ridener, Cian Ellis, Jazlyn Ridener, Jacob Ridener, and Anabelle Ridener.

Visitation with the family will be 6:007:00 PM Friday, March 26, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Matthew Levant officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
