Alice Stubbs

Alice Anna Stubbs, age 83, passed away Thursday, December 16, 2010 in Odessa.

She was born January 22, 1927 in Ft. Lee, New Jersey to Burton Earnest Scott Tice and Catherine Ann Kenzer. She was raised in Parkersburg, West Virginia and moved to Odessa in 1945 after high school graduation. She married Leland Ross Stubbs on July 12, 1952 in Odessa. She was employed with Southwestern Bell for 43 years prior to retirement. After retirement, she volunteered at several locations including local hospitals and schools. She enjoyed gambling and traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Catherine Tice her husband Leland Stubbs one brother and one sister.

Survivors include her daughters, Ann Stubbs and Kaye Macon grandchildren, Cheryl Isbell and husband Jeff and Amanda Haney and husband Rocky great grandchildren, Bailey, Michael, Zach, Wyatt and Tyler two brothers and two sisters.

Graveside services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 18, 2010 in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jimmy Braswell officiating.
