Aline Ingalls Ozanne, 90, passed away Monday, September 21, 2009 at her home.

Aline was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 3, 1919. She moved to Dallas as a child and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. She was a retired homemaker.

Aline was a gifted golfer. At the age of 69, she was the club champion of both of her country clubs in Dallas. Aline loved to fly and play bridge. At 90, she was taking piano lessons from her great grandchildrens teacher and was also taking duplicate bridge lessons. She was a member of the Christian Science Church, the Ellen Noel Art Museum and the Midland-Odessa Symphony and Chorale.

Aline is survived by her daughter, Barbara Davis of Odessa and her son and his wife Robert and Kathi Bearden of Richardson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Stephen M. Steen, Jr. and wife Lisa of Odessa, Robert Houston Steen and wife Tori of Odessa, Stacey Bearden Jayanty and husband Nick of New York City, and Patrick Bearden and wife Marissa of Dallas; her great grandchildren Natalie Steen, Avery Steen, Robert Houston Steen, Jr. and Stephen Marshall Steel, III, all of Odessa.

She was predeceased by her husband Porter L. Ozanne.

A private memorial service will be held Friday afternoon in her daughters garden. Memorials may be directed to the Ellen Noel Art Museum, 4909 E. University, Odessa, Texas 79762.
