Aloha "Lola" Gann

Aloha “Lola” Lorraine Lowery Gann, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on January 4, 2023, at Medical Center Hospital with her children & husband by her side.

Arrangements are being made by Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.  Family is allowing visitors on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, 6pm – 8pm, & Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 10am in the chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Bradwell & Reverend Gale Wilson officiating.  No Burial will follow.

Lola was born and raised in Odessa, Texas, to Sammie Libby & Harold Lowery on Sunday, April 3, 1955. She went to school at Odessa High School. She married David Gann on January 2, 2010, in their home here in Odessa, TX.  She worked as a secretary/bookkeeping for the biggest part of her life. She worked at First Savings & Loan, Gregory Rig Service & Sales, West Texas Nissan, Hills Specialty, The Fire Place, HC Howell Co., & Shamrock Steel/Triple S Steel was her final employer.

Lola was a hard worker, great mom, grandmother, daughter & all-around friend. She would help anyone that asked her, and you might hear about it later, but she helped. She was petite, beautiful, and a force to be reckon with. Lola the show girl was what everyone always sang to her, but her comeback was no its what Lola wants Lola gets. She loved to go bowling, go to rodeos, shopping for anything and everything, and spending time with her grandbabies, friends, and family.

Lola was preceded in death by her grandparents, Millard & Rosa Lea Smallwood and Joe & Edna Lowery; her father Harold Lowery; mother Sammie Libby; Aunt Emma Lea Coldiron.

Lola is survived by her husband, David Gann; Children, Shonna Debes & husband Stan, Ronnie Lowery & wife Krystal & Colby Gann; grandchildren Colby, Braden, Abigail, Christiane “CC”, Destiny, Skylar, Kailey, Corbin, Triston, Blair, Nolan & Wyatt; siblings Harold (Kay), Tony, Vivian, Gale (Randal), Lee, Lovey, Michelle, Kathleen & countless nieces, nephews, family, & friends.

The family of Lola wishes to extend our sincere thanks to her employer Shamrock Steel / Triple S Steel.
