Angelica Tillis was born on September 1, 1972, in Odessa, TX to Elida and Antonio Vasquez Sr. Angie loved the outdoors and spent time admiring all of nature’s beauty, especially the beach where she would stay for hours. She was baptized as one of Jehovah’s witnesses on November 12, 1988. She was a homemaker committed to family and friends. She was always ready to give her support and help to anyone who needed it. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She worked in different places and volunteered teaching people the Bible as often as she could. She’s known for her witty sense of humor that kept everyone laughing. Her beautiful smile was not only contagious but would light up a room everywhere she went. Once her grandchildren came, her life changed forever. Her grandbabies, Odin and Sariah quickly became her pride and joy. Her love and faith in Jehovah God were unwavering! It was the driving force in her fight with cancer. She never had a “poor me” attitude but a “I will give it my all and beat this thing because Jehovah will provide” and he did. The support she had from family and friends was a true testament on how Jehovah provides comfort when we are weak.
