Angelita "Mickey" Rangel Chapa, age 84, of Odessa, TX, passed away on December 26, 2016 in Odessa, Tx.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday, December 30, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 4:00 pm, Friday, December 30, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Angelita was born in San Antonio, TX, to Jesse and Tomasa Rangel, on May 8, 1932. She married Jose Chapa Jr. in 1953 in Odessa TX. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Angelita is preceded in death by her son, Jesse Jesus Chapa, her brother, Albert Rangel, her sister, Petra Cortez, her sister's son, Mike Cortez, her sister's, daughter Cathy Cortez, and her brother's daughter, Irene Cuellar.

Angelita is survived by her husband, Jose Chapa Jr, son, Joe A. Chapa and wife Annie, daughter, Carmen and her husband, John "JJ" JerniganJr, daughter,
Consuelo and her husband Estevan Zapata, daughter Linda and her
Husband, David Gomez. Five grandchildren, Angela Ramirez, Jessica Weeks and her husband Bruce, David Michael Gomez, Daniel Cody Chapa, Sammy Gomez and his wife Viviana and three great- grandchildren.
