Ann Connally, age 90, of Midland, TX, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017.
Ann was born March 6, 1927 to Guinn and Claud Miller in Breckenridge, TX. A graduate of McLeod High School, she furthered her education by attending business college. Ann married David L. Connally on December 23, 1948, and they spent their married life living in Crane, Sugarland and Midland, TX. Ann retired from Texaco after 25 years of service. She and Dave moved to Midland in 1992 to spend their retirement years close to family. Ann was a devoted wife of 69 years and a loving sister, aunt, sister in-law and friend to many. She cherished the time spent with family members through the years at family gatherings and holiday celebrations. Her greatest passions were cutting and filing recipes, decorating rooms and reading magazines. Her quick smile and sharp wit will remain in our memory.
Ann is preceded in death by her parents, Claud and Guinn Miller; her brothers, Jim and wife, Doris, Gene and wife, Marcellene Miller; sister, Mickey Fletcher and husband, Walt; and brother in-law, Leland Lain.
She is survived by her husband, Dave; sister, Betty Lain of Odessa; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Services will be at 1:00 pm, Thursday, October 19, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Lynn Money officiating.
