Ann Egger

Ann L. Egger, 71 passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Odessa, TX. She was born October 4, 1939 in Lampasas, TX to Oscar Y. Lockridge and Azalea Spurlock.

She moved to Odessa in 1965 and graduated from UTPB. She was a member of Phi Alpha Theta and taught at Travis Elementary School for fourteen years. She received numerous awards over twenty five years volunteering with PTA, Boy Scouts of America, and other youth activities.

Ann enjoyed teaching, sewing and doing puzzles. She supported the arts and Permian Playhouse and was a member of St. Lukes Methodist Church for thirty years.

She is survived by her daughter, Katherian Harris of Midland, sons, Eldon Egger of Odessa, Cecil Egger of Irving, TX, five grandchildren, Tonya Wagnon, Mathew Harris, Cristiney Egger, Kelsi Egger, Kiriney Egger three greatgrandchildren, Brittny, Samantha, Bailey sisters, Jane Tomlin, Pat Shannon, Joy Shrum, brothers, Thomas and Jim Lockridge .

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, April 11, 2011 from
57:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel at 4:00 PM with Bradley Bennett officiating and burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
