Anna Gonzalez

Anna Maria Gonzalez 67 and a native Texan passed away September 5th, 2010 after her long struggle with cancer. She was born in Presidio Texas to rancher Pablo Gonzalez RIP and Eva Gonzalez Garcia. She grew up in a big family eight siblings with lots of love. She attended Presidio High School and moved to Odessa to attend beauty school.

She was everybodys favorite beautician and she worked both in El Paso and Odessa. More than a beautician she was a friend and therapist. She could tell you everything and give you all the answers but mostly she was always there to listen and let you know that she cared.

Her life as a single mother revolved around her family and mostly her only son Pablo Raul Gonzales. She was a tireless person, proud mothergrandmother, loving daughter, caring sister and friend to all that would cross her path.

Her life was full of memories that surrounded others. She never wanted anything in life but to see her loved ones succeed. She would make time for Pauls Odessa High Bronchos, her Savannah grand daughter, and all the events that surrounded her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed all her friends in the great southwest tremendously making trips to Utah, Nevada, California, Arizona, Mexico, and all places in between.

She is preceded in death by her father Pablo Gonzalez and her brother Justo Gonzalez.

Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Mark Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
