Armando Chavarria, 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, in Houston, Texas. He was a big hearted, generous, and loving son, brother, husband, dad, grandpa, cousin and uncle.
He was born in Vicente Guerrero Durango, Mexico and was one of 11 siblings. Cowboys fan who loved singing, camping, nature, but most of all music, music was his heart and soul, he loved it from Spanish favorites to Old Country music.
He had his dream job as an Electrical Engineer and was a firm believer that hard work and respect could get you far in life. He loved it, so much so he kept doing it till the very end.
He will be deeply missed.
Visitation will be from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM, Thursday, April 13, 2023, at Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Friday, April 14, 2023, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Odessa.
Armando is preceded in death by his parents, Gustavo and Micaela Chavarría; and by his brother Antonio Chavarria Ramirez.
He is survived by his wife, Ofelia Chavarría Venezuela; son, Paul Chavarría from Humble, TX; daughter, Hilda Chavarría from Humble, TX; daughter, Daisy Anderson and Husband Mark from Montgomery, TX; son, Armando Chavarría, JR. from Humble, TX; daughter, Sharinett Chavarría, from Portland, TX; daughter, Shannon Chavarría from Portland, TX
Grandkids in their parents’ orders:
