Armando Ybarra

Armando Ybarra, age 64, of Odessa, TX, sadly left this world December 7, 2021.

Armando was born June 25, 1957, to Fernando & Carrie Ybarra in the small town of Junction, TX.

Armando was an industrial painter for many years and had a passion for it, he was raised with his brothers and sisters, a family of nine. He loved nothing more but spending every ounce of time talking and spending time together. He was always playing bingo and fishing with his family and friends. He married the love of his life, Elisa Ybarra, of 24 years on April 19, 1997, at the Church of Christ.

Armando is preceded in death by his father, Fernando Ybarra, Sr., and brothers, Homer and Roland Ybarra.

He is survived by his loving wife, Elisa Ybarra; sons, Ismael (Sonja), Mando (Joann) Ybarra, Joshua Ybarra, Miguel (Lydia) Garcia; his only daughter, Brittney (Gama) Corral; mother, Carrie Ybarra; brothers, Fernando, Jr. (his twin), Richard, and Hector Ybarra; sisters, Elsa Medina, Elizabeth Ruiz, and Edna Martinez; along with 15 wonderful grandchildren: Kayla, Isaiah, Marylyn, Kim, Savannah, Luis, Ezra, Eva, Gamaliel, Jr., Gessiah, Gianna, Genessa, Mikey, Noah, and Malakai; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, December 13, 2021, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home (6801 E Business 20, Odessa Tx, 79761) with Pastor Allen Weakland of Church of Christ.  Burial will follow at Sunset memorial where Armando will be laid to rest.

The family would like to extend their gratitude towards Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home for being very accommodating and understanding during this difficult time.
