Aron Carrasco

Aron G. Carrasco, Sr., age 84, of Odessa, TX, passed away on July 4, 2017 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Friday, July 7, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Aron was born on October 17, 1932 to Pedro and Anita Carrasco in San Jose, TX. He married Matilde Gonzalez on September 19, 1950 in Ojnaga Mexico. He worked as a laborer for General Tire for 32 years.

Aron is preceded in death by his parents, Pedro and Anita Carrasco, sons, Pete Carrasco, Aron Carrasco, daughter, Yolanda Barela, granddaughter, Debbie Carrasco, brother, Julian Ramos and sister, Elisa Carrasco.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Matilde Carrasco; daughters, Mary Hernandez, Aurora Rivas, Anna Rodriguez, Elsie Villa, Sandra Subia; sister, Maria Gallardo; brother, Roy Perez; 21 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Orona, Albert Hernandez, Isaac Amendariz, Timothy Armendariz, Jaime Rodriguez, John Rodriguez, Pete Carrasco and Ivan Subia.
