Aron G. Carrasco, Jr. passed away Thursday, January 17, 2008 at the Home Hospice House. He was born September 21, 1956 to Aron and Matilde Carrasco Sr. in Odessa, TX.
He united in marriage with Nina Urias April 11, 1977 here in Odessa. He served his country in the US Armed Forces and retired as a lab technician from Ameripol Synpol Corporation.
Aron will be united with his loving daughter Debbie, brother, Pete Carrasco, along with many other family members and friends that have passed on.
He is survived by his wife Nina Carrasco, daughters, Elaine Schnell and husband Harley, Annette Carrasco, JoAnn Reyes and husband Jesse all from Odessa and his grandchildren, Abigayle Diane, Samantha Nicole, Dylan Aron, Roy Nicholas and Donovan Ryan who brought joy and laughter everyday and will keep his spirit alive in each and every way. Along with his loving sisters Mary Hernandez, Ana Rodriguez, Sandra Subia and Elsie Carrasco and their families, Aurora Rivas and Yolanda Barela and their families of Midland, Tx and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers are Ray Subia, Mickey Rivas, Israel Rodriguez, Albert E. Hernandez, Tim Armendariz, and Jesse Gonzales.
A Rosary will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 6:30 P.M. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 A.M. January 22, 2008 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with Father Mark Woodruff officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors with VFW Post 4372 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Gardens.
