The following article was written about Mr. Rimer in the Odessa American.

In compiling this review of progressive Odessa oil industry personnel, we have endeavored to select those citizens who, by the manner in which they have conducted themselves and their business, have earned for them positions of leadership in their various fields of activities. Such a man is A.G. Glen Rimer, general manager for R H Well Service, who is well known and has many friends and customers throughout this entire district.

Mr. Rimers main interests have not been solely confined to his own business and private affairs, but have also included his contributions, in one form of another, to those projects of a civic nature which come within the scope of his activities.

Glen Rimer is a man of wide experience whose exploits in the business and civic life of Odessa and vicinity merits more than a passing attention, and the writer is privileged to pay this brief tribute to a man who well deserves more credit than is accorded him here.

Mr. Rimer was preceded in death by a son, Phillip Rimer, sisters, Wanda Lawson and Audrey McAnally, and a brother, Cecil Rimer.

Survivors include his children; Christopher Rimer and wife Vickie of Odessa, Cynthia Whirley and husband Michael of Odessa, Diana Smith and husband Ron of Alpine, Darrell Rimer and wife Joan of Odessa; brother, Wayne Rimer, sister Deloris Hennech, brother, Larry Rimer, brother, Donald Rimer, brother, Terry Rimer and sister, Janet Shaw; 12 grandchildren, Carole Hoskinson and husband Zach, of Virginia Beach, Conrad Rimer of Odessa, Philliph Whirley and wife Wendy of Odessa, Tiffney Pedersen and husband Anders of Abilene, Mark Corbitt and wife Yara of Edinburg, Matt Corbitt of Houston, Meshell Roman and husband Jon of Odessa, Felisea Rimer, Jamie Rimer, Desirae Rimer, Travis Rimer and Troy Rimer, all of Odessa and 16 great grandchildren.
