Barbara Briley

Barbara Gayle Briley, age 70, passed away Monday, September 6, 2010 in Odessa.

She was born February 18, 1940 in Erath County, Texas to Aubrey Lee Stone and Inis Mozelle Metsgar. She lived in Stephenville and Abilene. She married Larry Briley on June 9, 1957 in Abilene, Texas and they moved to Odessa in 1965.

She was a very special lady she was our Meeps. She was a member of the Odessa Country Club Golf Association and of First Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Briley of Odessa her daughter, Jamie Cleveland and husband Bennie of Odessa her brother, Kenneth Stone and wife Judy of Stephenville, Texas her granddaughter, Ashlee Chavez and husband Chris of Dallas, Texas.

Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, September 10, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Marcus Zuniga officiating.

The family requests memorials be directed to Hospice House of Odessa, 903 N. Sam Houston, Odessa, Texas 79761 or to Odessa Teen Court Scholarship Fund, Municipal Court, 201 N. Grant, Odessa, Texas 79761.
