Barbara Reeves

Barbara A. Davis Reeves passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009 in Odessa.

She was born July 27, 1940 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Robert L. Davis and Rollie M. Davis. She played volleyball in city leagues, where she met Stewart, her husband of 39 years. She was an avid supporter of all her kids sports activities, including volleyball, gymnastics, basketball, baseball, football, and track. She was also a dedicated scorekeeper for baseball and softball. She worked for Rexene and the Permian Basin Rehab Center, where she participated in Easter Seals Telethons.

Survivors include her husband, Stewart Reeves of Odessa; her mother, Rollie Davis of Gardendale; her brother Robert Davis and his wife Linda of Luling, Lousiana; her children, Donna Nall and her husband Doug of Midland, Kim Blair of Odessa, Craig Reeves and his wife Robbi of Odessa, and Shelly Reeves of Carrollton, Texas; Her grandchildren, Aaron Thurber, Joshua Thurber, Jaylee Nall, Bailey Blair, Jack Blair, Katie Reeves, Austin Reeves, Desmond Reeves, Tamia Reeves, and Jayda Reeves.

Visitation with the family is scheduled for 68 P.M. Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Byron McWilliams officiating.
