Barbara Rodgers

Barbara J. Rodgers, age 73, of Roanoke, VA, passed away on November 9, 2017 in Odessa, TX.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm, Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.

Barbara was born October 9, 1944 to Clarence J. Brown and Jessie R. Atkinson Brown in Roanoke, VA. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Roanoke, VA. She married Stephen J. Rodgers on December 24, 1968 in Roanoke, VA. Barbara worked in retail sales most of her life. She was an avid bowler, she loved bowling with her husband.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Stephen J. Rodgers; parents, Clarence and Jessie Brown; brother, Charles Brown and sister, Katie Croft.

She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Redmond, Denise Veach and husband Jesse Veach; sons, Chris Rodgers, Richard Rodgers and Andy Rodgers; grandchildren, Michiele, Hanna, Michael, Christopher, Hunter, Trenton, Katelyn, Nicholas, J C, Justin, Sarah, KJ and Logan; great grandchildren, Jailyn, Sammy, Taeveon, Rocky and Stephen.
