Belinda Matheny

Belinda Ann Matheny, age 48, of Odessa, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012 in Odessa.

She was born September 24, 1963 in Abilene, Texas to Jerry Don Galle and Donna Hicks Galle. She grew up in Odessa and graduated from Odessa High School. Belinda accomplished a long career with the 711 family. She was currently the store manager of 120 on 42nd and West County Road. She enjoyed football and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. She also enjoyed bowling, playing pool, camping, and barbequing in the back yard with friends and family. Her most precious thing in life was taking care of her son, B.J. Bobby Gene Matheny, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Survivors include her son, Bobby Gene Matheny, Jr. and wife Kristen of Odessa and a brother, Donny Galle of San Antonio and many good friends who loved her dearly.

Visitation with the family will be 35 PM Sunday, September 23, 2012 in Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, September 24, 2012 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Bartlett officiating. Burial will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 25, 2012 in Abilene.
