Benny Henderson, age 66, of Odessa, TX, passed away on July 10, 2018 in Paint Rock, TX.
Benny was born January 30, 1952 to Johnny and Francis Henderson in Robert Lee, TX.
Benny was a hard-working man, and everyone that worked with him knew he took his work very serious and liked to gripe if it wasn't done right! The oilfield was his life and he loved his career of over 40 years.
As all know, hunting and fishing were the times he enjoyed spending with family and friends, and he could never get enough of either one of these hobbies.
He was a caring husband to the love of his life, Debbie and he loved boot-scootin across the dance floors with her in his arms.
Pepaw (Benny), our Dad, may have been hard on us and a grouch at times, but we all knew he loved us with all his heart and would do anything for any of us. The lake life put a smile on his face and where he wanted to spend the rest of his life. He was granted that wish when he was called Home, two stepping through Heaven's gate. Until we see you again, we will cherish our memories forever and miss you more than you will ever know.
Benny is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Marshall Henderson, Sr. and Francis Lee Rabb; his brother, Otis Lynn Henderson and his beloved "Nonnie", first grandbaby, Ronnie James Jeter.
He is survived by his wife that he was looking forward to sharing their 38th wedding anniversary on July 18th; four children, Leslie Richardson and her husband, Curtis Richardson, E.J. Grillo and his wife, Amanda Grillo, Benny Henderson, Jr. and his wife, Sharon Henderson, Shanna Lee Henderson; fourteen grandchildren that loved their Pepaw unconditionally to his very last day, and will never stop loving him; granddaughters, "his baby" Sommer Nicole Grillo, Brooklynn Houston, Abrianna Henderson, Kaycee and Kortnie Grillo and Chandra Ahrendt; grandsons, Benny Henderson III (Trey), Taylor Rollins, Cody Ralston, Josh Richardson and Seth and Justin Richardson and Kendon Mitchell.
