Beryle Simpkins

Beryle Simpkins, 83 passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Medical Center Hospital. She was born March 11, 1927 in Wortham, TX to Jessie James Whitmore and Minnie Emily Musick. She graduated high school in East, TX and went to Kilgore Junior College. She married in October 29, 1948 to Grover Lee Simpkins.

She is preceded in death by her husband and her brother Johnny Whitmore and sister Marguerite Piercy.

She is survived by her daughter Gerry Marino and husband Bill of Big Spring, TX son, Roy Lynn Simpkins of Odessa, TX three grandsons, Tim Marino of Lubbock, TX, Brandon Marino and wife Ashley of Midland, TX Sawyer Simpkins of Odessa and one greatgrandson, Rylan Jace Marino of Midland brothers, Derward Whitmore and wife SuzAnn of Odessa, Tommy Whitmore and wife Marlene of Bakersfield, CA sisters, Anna Faye Phelps of Yacipa CA and Dolly Griffith of Austin, TX.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Monday, January 3, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home. Graveside service will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Steve Horton officiating.
