Beth Kirkpatrick

Beth Lyn Kirkpatrick, 78, of Odessa, Texas passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on January 28, 2022, in Odessa, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at New Life Church with Tim Halstead of New Life Church, officiating.  Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Beth Lyn was born in Fort Worth, Texas to L.W. and Bess McGlothlin on October 24, 1943.  She went to school in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  She married Charlie Kirkpatrick on July 16, 1966, in Ardmore, Oklahoma.  She graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education.  Beth Lyn taught 4th grade for over 30 years.  With her love of children, she volunteered at Harmony Home for many years and was currently serving as Secretary on the Ector County Children Services Board.

Beth Lyn is preceded in death by parents, L.W. & Bess McGlothlin, and her brother, Levi McGlothlin.

Beth Lyn is survived by her husband, Charlie Kirkpatrick; Lance & Jamie Kirkpatrick and Rod & Cathy Kirkpatrick; Alex Kirkpatrick, Zach Kirkpatrick, and Josh Kirkpatrick.

Pallbearers will be Lance Kirkpatrick, Rod Kirkpatrick, Alex Kirkpatrick, Zach Kirkpatrick, Josh Kirkpatrick, Cody Furlow, Cade Furlow and Brent Tidwell.
