Bette Winterrowd

Bette J. Winterrowd, 68 passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011 in Odessa, TX. She was born on May 01, 1942 in St. Louis MO to John Herbert and Janet Fossum.

Bette was raised in Minneapolis, MN and graduated high school in Clinton, Iowa. She worked as a seamstress for awhile. She met husband in CA at a military club on base in June 1968 moved to Pecos in February 1969 and married Michael F. Winterrowd on September 22, 1970 in Carlsbad, NM. She was big collector of porcelain dolls, collector of plates and angels. She was very fond of all her many nieces and nephews. Her greatest enjoyment was the time she spent with her dogs, her babies.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janet, sisters Pat, Janet and Barbara and a brother John.

She is survived by her husband Mike Winterrowd of Odessa, TX, nephews, Michael Todd Welch and wife Deann of Midland, TX, Troy James Welch and wife Jamie of Odessa, TX.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday April 27, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with visitation come and go.
