Betty Cardwell

Betty Lou Cardwell, age 86, of Odessa, TX, left this earth for her real home on Monday, November 23, 2020.

Betty was born in Bivins, TX to J.O. and Mary Daniel on December 2, 1933. Betty grew up in Odessa where she met and married the love of her life, Keith Cardwell on August 10, 1952. Together they had three boys, Steve, Dave and Mark. She was a stay at home Mom for her boys and loved every minute of it. Betty loved to travel, planning her trips and get togethers with friends and family. She was up for a good card game and a competitive domino game of 42 or train. She enjoyed fishing, camping, and long talks with her grandchildren in the swing on the back porch. She was a faithful member of Crescent Park Baptist Church and loved her brothers and sisters in Christ.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, J.O. and Mary Daniel; her husband, Keith Cardwell; brother, Don Daniel; her son, David Cardwell and her grandson, Daniel Cardwell.

Betty id survived by her two sons, Steven Cardwell and his wife, Tracy, Mark Cardwell and his wife. Brenda; grandchildren, Karl, Michelle, Tommy, Bobby, Kelly., Rebecca, Devin, Kayla and Cailin; many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

The family would like to thank the staff at Park’s Nursing Home, who cared for Betty the last few years.

A private family ceremony will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
