Betty Fenton

Betty Jo Fenton, age 81, passed away Saturday, June 5, 2010 in Midland.

She was born April 7, 1929 in St. Louis, Missouri to Charles G. Zimmerman and Nell Stanley Zimmerman. She was raised in Fairfield, Illinois and graduated from Fairfield high School. She worked for 20 years at Key Enterprises of OdessaAustin, Texas. She married Robert Bob William Fenton on September 7, 1948 in Henderson, Kentucky.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Fenton of Midland stepmother, Nelda Heindl of Fairfield, Illinois brother, James E. Zimmerman of North Little Rock, Arkansas brother, Larry D. Zimmerman of Fairfield, Illinois sister, Patsy Z. Herring of Scottsboro, Alabama and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be 10:0011:00 AM Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Ed Herring officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Betty to Midland SPCA of Midland, Texas.
