Betty Lewis

Betty Meralea Lewis, 64, of Odessa, passed away on Friday, December 21, 2012 in Odessa, Texas at Hospice House.

A visitation will be held the Sunday afternoon as a comeandgo visitation at Sunset Funeral Home.

A funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at Grace Christian Fellowship with the Pastor Clark Racca of Grace officiating.

Meralea was born in Odessa to Charles Kent Burdshaw and Betty Jo Arrant Eudy Burdshaw on June 30, 1948. She went to school in Odessa. She worked as a waitress for Mamas KitchenCatfish. She was a member of Grace Christian Church.

Meralea is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Meralea is survived by her daughters, DeLisa Gempel, and Kimberly and her husband Scott VanHorn sons, Christopher Lewis, and Jeffery Martin and five grandchildren.
