Betty Mcdaniel

Betty Jean McDaniel, age 84 of Odessa, TX passed away on January 14, 2018 in Odessa, TX.

Funeral services will be held on 10:00 am, Thursday January 18, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel in Odessa with Brother Mark McDonald of Tabernacle Baptist Church officiating.
Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction on Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.

Betty Jean was born in Fort Worth, TX to Thurman and Jewel Brooks on August 31, 1933. She went to school in Brownwood, TX. She married Don McDaniel on December 3, 1958 in Lovington, NM.
She attended Odessa College. She and her husband Don, owned and operated McDaniel Piano for 15 years. Betty Jean also founded the Go Ask Mission and Ministry and did her mission work
for 13 years. She was a member of Sunset Heights Baptist Church.

Betty Jean is preceded by her parents Thermon and Jewel Brooks; sisters Doris Veatch and Norma Brooks; brothers Bob, Johnny, Charles and Glenn Brooks.

Betty jean is survived by her husband Don McDaniel, daughter Debbie McDaniel of Odessa; Teri Bruton and husband William of Houston; son Greg McDaniel and wife Lucinda of North Zulch;
sister Ruth Ann Bruguette of Quipman; granddaughters Hallie and Ashley Bruton of Houston, nieces and nephews and sister-in-law Jimmie Brooks.

Pallbearers will be Ted Vaughn, Tanner Selinger, William Bruton, Doug Bryant, Brian Bailey and Freddie Olivas.

Memorials may be given to Odessa Animal Shelter of Odessa, TX.
