Betty Owen

Betty Ann Owen was called home to be with Her Lord on Friday June 4, 2010. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Betty had touched in some way throughout her very memorable life.

She gave us all such courage and hope and reminded us of the preciousness of life. She enjoyed music and reading books, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and seventeen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Gary Dempsey and sister, Wanda Bright.
Betty is survived by her brother, Bill Fuson and wife Jackie and her children Mike Cawley and wife Karen, Michele Cox and husband Bill, Shana Johansen, Kathy Lowe, Billy Cawley, and her youngest son Loren Cawley.

Family will receive friends Monday, June 7, 2010 from 67pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will take place on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at 10am at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Tom Revilla officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Hospice of Midland, Inpatient Unit.
