Betty Lou Ziegler, age 95, of Odessa, TX, passed away on May 23, 2018 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Monday, May 28, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at New Dawn Fellowship Church at 2210 E. 10th St, Odessa, TX, with Reverend Wally Schiwart officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa.

Betty was born May 19, 1923 to William and Shirley Whitten in Memphis, TX. She went to school in Lakeview, TX. Betty married Rayford Earl Ziegler on June 28, 1942 in a double wedding with Rayford's sister, Jean and future husband, Howard Gilcrest in Winnsboro, TX. She was involved in her church all her life.

Betty is preceded by her husband, Rayford Ziegler; her parents, 4 sisters and 5 brothers.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Allison and her husband, Dick, Vonda Bennington and her husband, Gary; sons, Wayne Ziegler and his wife, Sharon, Sidney Ziegler and his wife, Debbie; daughter, Nadeen Whiteside and her husband, Terry; son, Curtis Ziegler and his wife, Cara; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Chris Ziegler, Chad Ziegler, Wade Bennington, Skip Ziegler, Larry Davis, Steve Bracken, Walter Davis, Corbin Ziegler, Cody Ziegler, Brett Ziegler and Heath Whiteside.

Memorial Contributions in Betty's name may be made to the New Dawn Fellowship Church.
