Beverly Phillips

Beverly Jean Phillips, 81, of Odessa, Texas passed away on September 16, 2020.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Charlie Johnson of Seminole, Texas officiating.

Beverly Jean Phillips was born in Dawson County on her grandparent’s farm to Travis and Wanda Russell on April 12, 1939. She went to school at Sands ISD in Ackerly, Texas. She married Dee Phillips on October 26, 1957 at the Ackerly United Methodist Church. She loved to bake and made many birthday and wedding cakes for friends and family. She was involved with her Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, Feed My Sheep, and Church Choir at Highland United Methodist Church.

Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Delwyn Dee Phillips and parents, Travis and Wanda Russell.

Beverly is survived by her daughter, Jeanna Lambert and her husband, Jack of Buffalo Gap, Texas; daughter, Sharla Johnson and her husband, Charlie of Seminole, Texas; son, Travis Phillips of Odessa, Texas; and son, Bo Phillips, and wife, Kristy of Odessa, Texas; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Highland United Methodist Church 1808 N. Dixie Blvd. Odessa, Texas 79761.
