Beverly Susan

Beverly "Susie" Susan, 75, beloved mother and sister, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2022, in Odessa Texas.

She was born on November 14, 1946, in Odessa, Texas, to Vernon and Elaine Toone. She was a 1965 graduate of Permian High School and went on to pursue her love of singing. For many years she toured in the US and Europe before settling down and marrying the love of her life, her late husband Harry Susan. They were married in the fall of 1973, and soon began growing their family. She was afforded the beautiful gift of staying home to raise her children while her husband flew as a crop duster.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harry Susan; her mother, Elaine Kimbrough and stepfather, E.R. Kimbrough; her sister, Kimberly Nolan; and her father, Vernon Toone.

She is survived by her children, daughter, Danielle Susan (Fliflet); son, Donny Susan; daughter, Carrie Anne Gutierrez; and son, Dusty Susan, all of Odessa; her six grandchildren, Jordan Lane of Midland, Jaden and Jocelyn Susan of Odessa and Moriyah, Faith and Tristan Gutierrez of Midland. She is also survived by her sisters, Glenda Dickens and Linda Van Bramer.

Pallbearers will be Donny Susan, Jaden Susan, Jay Montgomery, Tristan Gutierrez, Winter Hamilton-Hunt and Darrell Hunt.

Visitation for family and friends will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

Funeral services, to be held at 1:00 PM, on Thursday, October 13, 2022, in the Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa. Taylor Robles of Sherwood Church of Christ will be officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family of Beverly Susan, especially her oldest daughter Dani... would like to extend our deepest gratitude and thanks to the nursing staff on 4 Central and 5 Central at Medical Center Hospital and Miriam, Jennifer, Kristin and Rhonda from Heart-to-Heart Home Hospice for their amazing care of our mother. We are forever grateful!
