Bill Perkins

Bill J. Perkins of Odessa, TX passed away on December 23, 2015 at the age of 82.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm, on January 8, 2016, at Sunset Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, January 9, 2016 at Crossroads Fellowship at the corner of Billy Hext and Hwy 191 in Odessa, TX, with David Newton officiating.

Bill was born in Eden, Texas to John and Velma Perkins on November 7, 1933. He graduated from Hobbs High School. He met and was married to his wife, Betty McDaniel in Hobbs, NM. He owned and operated Apache Services (a wireline company) from 1972 to 1986.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, John and Velma Perkins and a daughter-in law Rhonda Perkins.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Perkins; three sons, Dennis Perkins, Billy D. Perkins and wife Tana, Darren Perkins and wife Deanna; two daughters, Becky Peeples and Sherry Coskrey; sister, Theo Barrett; two brothers, Don Perkins and wife Linda and Gene Perkins; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Crossroads Fellowship Campus Fund or The Jordan Spieth Family Foundation.

The family of Bill wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Renuka Borra, Dr. Sutish Mocherla, Home Hospice and the church family at Crossroads Fellowship.
