Billie F. Taulman Merriman

Billie Faye Merriman, 94, of Midland, TX, passed away on August 17, 2024, in San Angelo, TX.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, TX with Pastor Jan Reeds officiating.

Billie was born in Big Spring, TX to Wilford Homer and Nina Mae Bullock on August 19, 1929. She went to school at Pecos High School and graduated from East Texas State University and Sul Ross State University. She married Ottie Loyd Taulman on June 23, 1962. She worked as a school teacher, counselor, school administrator, real estate agent, and bookkeeper. After Ottie passed away, Billie moved to Midland and sold real estate. She married James Merriman on January 1, 1994, and was involved in Sunday School, playing games with friends, and traveling in their motor home.

Billie is preceded in death by parents Wilford and Nina Bullock, brother Bart Bullock, husband Ottie Loyd Taulman, husband James Merriman, son Ottie Clay Taulman, and step son-in-law Gary Nussey.

Billie is survived by her sister Betty Lou Tollin; granddaughter Madelynn Taulman and daughter-in-law Angela Taulman; nephew Carl Sven Tollin; niece Teresa Kay Long; great nieces and nephews: Emily Castillejos, Traci Graves, Kaylee Copeland, Ian Long, Jacob Tollin and Leanne Long; stepdaughters Rebecca Smith and Sara Taulman; stepdaughter Cynthia Nussey; stepsons James C and Robert P Merriman; step grandchildren Sandra Hansen, James Nussey, Andria Nussey, Krista Nussey, Michael P Merriman, Bennet J Merriman, and Sparkos Merriman.
