Billie Talley

Billie June Ramsey Talley, 85 of Odessa was born December 20, 1926 in Bokchito, Oklahoma to Laura Kathine Cleghorn and Jim Ramsey. Billie a house wife and mother of three left us today August 27, 2012 at Midland Memorial Hospitals Hospice of Midland InPatient Unit. Many thanks to the Hospice nurses what a wonderful group you are.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, August 31, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Hugh Harbour officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Billie and Clovis C. D. Talley and two young daughters, Elaine and Tina moved to Odessa from Durant, Oklahoma in 1953. Their son Kipp Donovan Talley was born in Odessa. Through the 50 and 60 the Talleys attended Friendship Baptist Church where Mrs. Talley and her three children were baptized. Moving their church membership to University Baptist Church where Mr. Talley was baptized. The family later moved their membership to Greenfield Baptist Church here in Odessa.

Those preceding her are her parents Jim Ramsey and Laura Kathine Cleghorn Ramsey Crutcher daughter Tina McCulley and sisters Dortha Orum, Opal Melton and Beatrice Jumper.

Survivors include her husband Clovis C.D. Talley of Odessa daughter Elaine June Coe and Bill Davis of Corsicana, Texas and son Kipp Donovan Talley of Gardendale, Texas.
5 grandchildren Laurie Ann Roekpe, Tanya L McCulley, Trent McCulley, Shane Donovan Coe, Kipp Donovan Talley. 9 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.

I dont know what tomorrow holds, but I know who holds tomorrow

God be with my family and friends, this chapter of my life is over. I have gone home to be with my God, Lord and Savior in Heaven where he has prepared a place for me. I will see you on the other side.
