Billy Arnold

Billy Dean Arnold peacefully passed away with his family by his side on September 26, 2021.  He was born in Overton, Texas on May 17, 1935.

Upon graduation in Overton, Texas, he attended 2 years at Kilgore College.  Billy moved to Odessa, Texas to work for Gulf Oil Corporation in 1956.  He married the love of his life, Alice Faye Behne, on July 4, 1958.  They then re-located to Monahans, Texas, where they started their family, and welcomed their first child, Eddy Dean Arnold, in January of 1960.  They were then transferred to Eunice, NM, where they welcomed their daughter, Theresa Faye Arnold, in February of 1962.

Billy worked for Gulf/Warren/Chevron for 28 years, retiring in 1983 as office manager.  They then moved to Victoria, Texas, where he worked for Camper City, and then moved back to Odessa in 1987, where he enjoyed working as a security agent at Midland International Airport.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, 1 sister, and his son-in-law.

Billy is survived by his wife, Alice Faye Behne Arnold; his son, Eddy Dean Arnold and wife, Kim; his daughter, Theresa Faye Arnold Anderson; grandson, Johnathan Elijah Boyd and wife, Amanda; great grandchildren, Benjamin, Sara, Emily, and Abby; godchildren, Darrell, and Erica Rydholm; 6 nieces; 7 nephews; 19 great-nieces and nephews.

Billy and Alice really enjoyed traveling and camping with family and friends.
