Billy James

Billy Mack James, 82, of Odessa died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness.

Bill was born July 15, 1930 in Guymon, Oklahoma. Bill moved to Odessa in 1957 where he worked and retired from the General Tire and Rubber Company. He was a charter member and deacon at Mission Dorado Baptist Church.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Sally James of Odessa daughters Cindy Sommerville of Big Spring and Karen James of Waxahachie son David James of Kaufman brother Gary James of Orange 5 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren, along with a great host of friends and church family.

A memorial service will be held at Mission Dorado Baptist Church on Saturday morning, May 18, at 11:00 am followed by a celebration of life and visitation with friends and family. A private graveside service will be entrusted to Sunset Memorial.

In lieu of flowers, please honor Bill with donations to the Mission Dorado Baptist Church Building Fund, or with donations to the Gideons.
