Billy Martin

Billy Carol Martin, 74, passed away Monday, December 29, 2008 in Odessa.

He was born March 12, 1934 in Lamesa, Texas to Fred Lee Martin, Sr. and Bertie Cawley. He served in the U.S. Army and worked in Law Enforcement in Conroe, Texas.

Mr. Martin was preceded in death by his brothers, Rowland Martin and Kenneth Ray Martin. He is survived by a daughter, Debbie Manning of Tomball, Texas, a granddaughter, Vickie McManus, great granddaughter, Jenna McManus; and three brothers, Bobby Wayne Martin, Fred Lee Martin, and Walter D. Martin.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday, January 1, 2008 from 6-8 PM in Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services with Military Honors with VFW Post 4372 are scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, January 2, 2009 in Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Emmett Barnard officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Loop, Texas.
