Billye Jones

Billye DeVore Jones, 85, of Odessa passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 in Stanton, TX.

Funeral services were held Monday, June 16, 2014 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home and were officiated by Rev. Dr. Bob Hines. Internment immediately followed.
Billye was born in Gail, TX to Joseph A. Wilson and Mamie Odom Wilson on August 10, 1928.

She married Fred DeVore on May 2, 1947 in Clairmont, TX. She remained married until his death in 1966. They had four children together. She then married Stan N. Jones in 1994. They remained married until his death in May 2009.

Billye was preceded in death by both her parents Joseph and Mamie Wilson, both her husbands Fred DeVore and Stan Jones, her youngest child Philip Clay DeVore, four siblings, Margaret White, Frank Wilson, Merl Wilson and Mildred Croffard.

She is survived by her children Ron DeVore and wife Sheila, Wayne DeVore and wife Darla Lynn, BJ Golden, Joe Gann and daughterinlaw Darla Leigh DeVore. She also has 11 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren plus one on the way and several greatgreat grandchildren.

Pall bearers were Trey Nall, Clayton Snyder, Clay Golden and Randy Clanton. Honorary bearers were Scott DeVore, Erik Edwards and Chris DeBusk.

Memorials may be given to the charity of your choice.
