Blake grew up in Odessa and Lake Ivy. Growing up he had a great love for hunting and fishing. During hunting season he filled the freezer with plenty of meat and took great pride in his cooking skills. He loved to fire up the barbque pit and cook for everyone. Blake was all boy. In school he played sports but didnt sign up for just one sport. He wanted to play them all. Football was his favorite but he played basketball and soccer as well. He was a free spirited child and loved to joke around and be silly. Not many pictures were taken when he didnt have a smile from ear to ear. Later, Blake worked in the oilfield and enjoyed climbing to the top of the derrick. He wanted to be able to see as much of Texas as he could and the higher he climbedthe more he could see. We will miss his bright smile and his loving heart.
